Samantha Morton on board for UK thriller set in gypsy community.

Samantha Morton is attached to play the lead role in upcoming UK/Canada supernatural thriller The Mulo from UK outfit Ipso Facto Films.

Intandem Films is introducing the project to buyers here at the AFM.

Set in a superstitious gypsy community in rural England, the film follows estranged twin sisters Brady and Bess - both played by Morton. When Brady’s little boy goes missing the desperate mother quests to find her son who may have been taken by an evil gypsy sprit.

Matthew Thompson (Dummy) directs, Christine Alderson (Irina Palm, Comes A Bright Day) produces. CGI comes from Montreal FX company Vision Globale.
