Producer Robert Lantos made the announcement on Thursday (26). Shooting is earmarked for an Aug 20 start on location in the Canadian town of Banff and Los Angeles.

The new arrivals join Ryan Kwanten in the Serendipity Point Films production about a man who set out to win a woman while his ex-wife continues to humiliate him on her blog.

Jeremiah Chechik will direct from Megan Martin’s adapted screenplay based on the novel by Tim Sandlin. Ari Lantos produces alongside Lontos while the executive producer is Mark Musselman.

Canning will play the love interest to Kwanten’s character and O’Hara is cast as her eccentric and estranged mother.

eOne will distribute Sex And Sunsets in Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand and the Benelux.
