The partners have announced the start of production in Victoria, British Columbia, on the teenage heroin addiction drama.

Production is set to run through February 22 with Bella Thorne in the lead as Amanda, a former star high school dancer who succumbed to drug abuse.

Cast members include Israel Broussard, Daniella Dobadilla and Ross Butler.

Vanessa Parise will direct Perfect High, which was written by Anne-Marie Hess.

The US premiere will come this summer on Lifetime, while Canadian audiences can tune in to Super Channel/Shaw. A&E handles inernationanal sales.
