Shooting is underway in Columbia, Missouri, on Los Angeles-based Site B and Missouri-based Arable Entertainment’s debut film A Horrible Way To Die.

A J Bowen (The House Of The Devil), Amy Seimetz (Alexander The Last) and Joe Swanberg (Nights And Weekends) star in the sub-$1m thriller about an escaped killer who pursues his ex-girlfriend after she flees to start a new life.

Adam Wingard is directing and Travis Stevens, Simon Barrett and Kim Sherman are producing. Zak Zeman serves as executive producer and is partly financing through his Site B.

Barrett is represented by David Kopple at The Gersh Agency. Wingard is managed by Jeremy Platt of The Spectacle Group.
