EXCLUSIVE: Cast confirmed for Fyzz Facility thriller which gets underway in Northern Ireland next week.
Boardwalk Empire star Stephen Graham will lead the cast of Michael Lennox’s feature debut A Patch of Fog, which is due to get underway in Northern Ireland next week.
The Fyzz Facility production follows a celebrated novelist and TV personality who finds his reputation on the line and his life invaded by a lonely security guard (played by Graham) when he is caught shoplifting.
Graham will star alongside Conleth Hill (Game of Thrones), Arsher Ali (Four Lions) and Ian McElhinney (Game of Thrones).
The screenplay, written by Michael McCartney and John Cairns was developed through Northern Ireland Screen’s New Talent Focus scheme.
Producers are Robert Jones (The Usual Suspects), Wayne Marc Godfrey (Cake) and David Gilbery (Bone Tomahawk) for The Fyzz Facility with backing coming from The Fyzz Facility, Northern Ireland Screen and the BFI.
Lennox’s short Back of Beyond was nominated for best short film at the European Film Awards and won awards at the Locarno International Film Festival and at the Royal Society of Television Awards.
