The 17th annual co-production and co-financing market will shine a light on Ibero-America and the US when it runs in Halifax, Canada, from September 11-14.

“Telefilm Canada recently reported that 14 feature films and 16 television shows have been co-produced between Canada and Latin America over the last decade,” said Laura Mackenzie, director of Strategic Partners.

“This statistic, coupled with the number of Latin American, Spanish and US-based festivals that have reached out to focus on Canada over the past couple of years, is especially encouraging. There’s a vested interest in working together from both sides and we are prepared to support that in every way we can.”
