Further details have emerged on the project that Barbra Streisand will direct for Kilburn Media and was first announced at the EFM in February. Aldamisa International handles worldwide sales.

The iconic entertainer’s first directing gig since 1996’s The Mirror Has Two Faces will be a romance between photographer Margaret Bourke-White and author Erskine Caldwell.  

The project is one Streisand has attempted to mount before. She is currently overseeing the screenplay.

Mark Manuel’s Kilburn Media will finance the film and Aldamisa’s Nadine de Barros will serve as a producer.
