Lisa Ray will star in Toy Boy, the feature debut of Suki Films-based writer-director Craig Goodwill and producers David Sparkes, Kim Berlin, Susan Schneir and Catherine Gourdier.

The story is based on Goodwill’s short Patch Town and reunites the original cast of Ray, Julian Richings and newcomer Rob Ramsay.

Production is scheduled for November in Toronto on the story of an abandoned toy that dreams of being reunited with its adoptive mother.

Patch Town premiered in Toronto and screens as part of the Cannes Short Film Corner on May 21.
