Julia Roberts is cast as the evil Queen opposite Lily Collins as the exiled princess, Armie Hammer as her love interest and Nathan Lane as the Queen’s hapless servant.

Relativity head Ryan Kavanaugh is producing alongside Bernie Goldmann and Brett Ratner. Melisa Wallack wrote the screenplay with Jason Keller.

Keller also wrote the Gerard Butler vechicle Machine Gun Preacher for Marc Forster. Relativity took over domestic distribution from Lionsgate this week after the latter cited a busy year-end release schedule that would conflict with Forster’s desire to see the film open this year. Lionsgate continues to handle international on that title.
