Oscar nominated writer Crispian Sallis is currently developing the screenplay, with a shoot aimed for August 2013.
Financier Tony Drury’s [pictured] debut novel Megan’s Game is to be turned into a feature film.
The novel focuses on a corporate financier and a young widow who, following a chance meeting, begin an affair. However, the financier soon finds himself the prime suspect in a high profile murder.
Initial funding has been secured and Emmy winning and three times Oscar nominated writer Crispian Sallis is currently developing the screenplay. Paul Tucker will produce the romantic thriller with a budget of more than $8m (£5m).
Tucker commented: “Tony Drury’s book contains all the elements to develop a screenplay with international box office appeal.”
Megan’s Game is set to start shooting in August 2013, with release aimed for spring 2014.
