W2 Media, the Los Angeles- and Vancouver- based film distribution, financing and international sales company, has acquired worldwide sales rights (excluding Germany and Spain) to action thriller The Killing House from Mythic International Entertainment.
Mythic’s Jonathan English (Ironclad) wrote the screenplay and will direct the film. He will also produce alongside Mythic’s Andrew Curtis and Rick Benattar.
The story is about a British army air officer who questions his morality after a brutal mission.
Julie Sultan, W2 Media’s President of International Sales & Distribution, will start discussions with international buyers for the first time at the European Film Market in Berlin this week. ZDF Enterprises, the commercial arm of German pubcaster ZDF has pre-bought rights for Germany.
Casting will be announced soon for the project, which will shoot starting in July in the UK, Germany, Hungary and Spain.
W2’s EFM slate also includes Attachment starring Sharon Stone and Dennis Wilson biopic The Drummer.
W2 has also acquired the English-language remake rights to Finnish feature Princess, which it will finance and also handle for worldwide sales.
