Warp Films Australia is re-teaming with Snowtown director for his next film Ivan Lendl Never Learnt To Volley.

Following their collaboration on shorts, music videos and Critics Week title Snowtown, brothers Justin and Jed Kurzel (who is also a musician with duo The Mess Hall) will co-write and direct. 

Like Snowtown, the film is inspired by true events.

Inspired by true events, Ivan Lendl Never Learnt to Volley takes place in 1989. It centers around a 13-year-old boy and his father who drove him too far for sporting success, leading to tragic consequences.

Snowtown was the first feature produced by newly launched Warp Films Australia.
