The noir thriller centres on a drug-addled former Deputy Sheriff who, when searching for his missing daughter amongst the complex politics of a rural Californian logging community, unearths a major conspiracy involving his daughter and a devastating forest fire rages.
Happy Camp is set to shoot in North America at the end of 2013 and is the debut screenplay of acclaimed playwright Zayd Dohrn.
Stella Nwimo produces, making her in house feature film debut for Bedlam Productions.
“Stella’s arrival at Bedlam has brought in a succession of great properties. We are very proud to see Stella get her first film away under the Bedlam banner,” commented Gareth Unwin, CEO at Bedlam.
