Jennifer Westfeldt and Jon Hamm’s Point West Pictures and Riza Aziz and Joey McFarland’s Red Granite Pictures have commenced principal photography in New York on Friends With Kids.  

Joshua Astrachan and Lucy Barzun Donnelly are also producing through their LOCOMOTIVE label alongside Jake Kasdan.

Westfeldt wrote and will direct Friends With Kids, an ensemble comedy in which two single friends decide to have a child together and date other people.

Hamm stars alongside Kristen Wiig and her former Saturday Night Live associate Maya Rudolph, as well as Chris O’Dowd, Edward Burns and Megan Fox.

Westfeldt’s screenwriting credits include KissingJessica Stein and Ira & Abby.

Mike Nichols serves as executive producer on Friends With Kids with John Sloss.
