Rai Trade is handling Happy Family, the new film from Oscar-winner Gabriele Salvatores.

Here at the EFM,  Rai Trade has been introducing the project to buyers prior to beginning international sales in earnest in Cannes in May.

Happy Family tells the story of two families whose lives are thrown together when their two headstrong fifteen-year olds announce their intent to marry.

“Gabriele has made a very intelligent comedy…a serious, brilliant comedy,” Rai Trade’s Sesto Cifola said. The film stars such familiar names as Diego Abatantuono, Fabio De Luigi, Fabrizio Bentivoglio and Margherita Buy.
