EXCLUSIVE: Raven Banner is in talks with buyers here on a raft of new titles led by fantasy horror Hellmouth from a screenplay by Pontypool writer Tony Burgess.
The story concerns a gravedigger who enters Hell when he tries to save the soul of a beautiful woman.
Steven McHattie from Pontypool stars in Hellmouth, which XYZ Films represents for the US.
Michael Paszt and James Fler of Raven Banner negotiated the deal with Matt Wiele and John Geddes of Foresight Features.
Raven Banner’s new slate include worldwide rights to Audrey Cumming’s horror Berkshire County, as well as We Are Monsters from Swedish directors Sonny Laguna and Tommy Wiklund, and horror anthology Mexico Barbaro.
“We’re quite excited about these films,” said Raven Banner managing director Paszt. “They represent an incredible diverse and eclectic range of talent from all around the world.”
