Nicolas Winding Refn's drama PusherII (With Blood on my Hands - Pusher II) bagged the most nominations forthe Danish Film Academy's ROBERT awards with 12 nods including best film,director, script and actor Mads Mikkelsen.
However, Pusher II, which doesn't open locally until Dec 25, faces competition from other films including PaprikaSteen's directing debut Aftermath and Nikolaj Arcel's box office hit Kings'Game, which both secured 10 nominations.
Another two films, Simon Staho's Swedish-language Day AndNight and Annette K. Olesen's In Your Hands, also picked up nods asbest film and director and got a total of eight and seven nominationsrespectively.
The big surprise was the omission of Susanne Bier's criticaland commercial hit Brothers from the best film and director category. Itmade do with a nomination for Anders Thomas Jensen's script, actor UlrichThomsen and supporting actor Nikolaj Lie Kaas.
The awards are handed out onSunday Jan 16 in Copenhagen.
