Regent Releasing has picked up North American rights to the romantic comedy The Hottie And The Nottie starring Paris Hilton.
The company has also acquired Central American, Caribbean and Greenland rights from Purple Pictures and will commence sales at AFM.
Regent has set a Feb 14 2008 North American release on the film about a man who can only date the woman of his dreams if he finds a date for her best friend.
Joel David Moore and Christine Lakin also star and Tom Putnam directed from Heidi Ferrer's screenplay.
Myles Nestel, Victoria Nevinny and Neal Ramer produced and Hilton and Hans Syz served as executive producers.
