Of course Vaizey thinks the film industry has a very good story to tell. All these films (Kings Speech, Never let me go, etc) were made a year or two ago and way before the government started messing everyone and everything around and throwing the whole industry into confusion. Shows how little he undersatnds the film business. Will be interesting to see how healthy things look in two years time (not just for production but for inward investment etc too) and whether this vacuum and uncertainty makes for a dud crop in 2012 and a downturn in inward investment. But by then Jeremy Hunt will have moved on to a new job of course.
