Luc Roeg's Independent FilmSales (IFS) announced in Cannes that it will handle sales on London To Brighton,a British thriller about a runaway girl caught up in an undergroundprostitution ring. Vertigo will be releasing the film (currently in post-production)in the UK following its debut at an autumn festival later in the year.

Written and directed by PaulAndrew Williams, London To Brightonstars Lorraine Stanley, Sam Spruell, Johnny Harris and Georgia Groome. WellingtonFilms and Steel Mill Pictures produced.

'London to Brighton deals with a harsh reality but at the same time thefilm works as a fantastically taut thriller,' said IFS head of sales AnaAyesta.

Here in Cannes, IFS isintroducing buyers to Hallam Foe,the latest feature from Young Adamdirector David Mackenzie. The Scottish-set project stars Jamie Bell and hasjust finished principal photography.

Meanwhile, Nic Roeg'slong-gestating Martin Amis adaptation Night Train now looks to be firmly back on track. StevenSoderbergh is attached alongside Lug Roeg as a producer, and a new screenplayhas just been delivered by highly rated US writers Brian Koppelman and DavidLevien, who previously worked on Oceans 13 and The Untouchablesprequel.
