Rotterdam Lab to welcome 57 young film producers

The CineMart event welcomes producers who were nominated by 22 Rotterdam Lab partner organisations. In addition to existing partners such as IFP, ACE, EAVE, and the New Zealand Film Commission, Rotterdam Lab 2011 has five new partners: Royal Film Commission – Jordan (Jordan), Secretaria de Estado de Cultura do Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), PROIMÁGENES COLOMBIA (Colombia), Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg (Germany) and Durban FilmMart (South Africa).

Rotterdam Lab runs Jan 29-Feb 2. Ido Abram of EYE and represenatives from Binger Filmlab will lead the Coaching Session on pitching projects.Special themes this year include the development and the role of the creative producer, digital distribution and VOD, managing post-production, and transmedia.

Participants will also have personal meetings with IFFR industry delegates.
