G2, Monceau Digital pick up rights for Russian war film
Russian sales outfit Central Partnership has closed deals on Alexander Kott’s Second World War epic The Brest Fortress, based on the 1941 Nazi invasion of the Soviet Union in which Russian troops held on to a border stronghold for nine days.
The film premiered at the Moscow International Film Festival last year. G2, which has had a busy festival securing a multi-film all rights deal with IM Global, also took digital rights to Andrey Konchalovski’s The Nutcracker from Central Partnership.
