New Russian distributor Nashe Kino took on The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D and Hercules 3D from Nu Image.

John Luessenhop will direct the 3D update of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Nashe Kino’s Irina Arvanova said: “I am happy we started relationships with Nu Image as they produce films as well as doing sales.”

Nashe Kino is a joint venture between Russia’s STV, Profit and Krasnaya Strela film companies. The outfit is involved in producing, acquiring, distributing and promoting local and international films.

Before joining Nashe Kino, Arvanova was head of sales at Central Partnership. LA-based Gordon Steel represents Nashe Kino.
