Maria Sanchez has been promoted to senior vice president liaison, Latin America, Spain and Portugal at NBC Universal International Television Distribution (NBC UITD).
Sanchez most recently served as vice president liaison, Spain and Portugal, and will continue to be based in NBC Universal's Madrid office, reporting to NBC UITD president Belinda Menendez.
Since joining NBC Universal in 2004, Sanchez has overseen the company's programming on free, pay and basic cable television throughout Spain and Portugal.
Sanchez previously served as managing director of international TV distribution at Alliance Atlantis Communications.
Prior to AllianceAtlantis she was sales manager for MTM International and operations supervisor for America Video Film
