Support scheme launched under the auspices of the Sarajevo Film Festival last August.
The revamped Sarajevo City Of Film Funds’ co-production support scheme has gone fully operational after launching under the auspices of the Sarajevo Film Festival last August.
The festival’s creative director Izeta Gradevic will preside over the fund’s selection board and head of industry Jovan Marjanovic will serve as executive director.
The fund is open to film-makers with feature projects from former Yugoslav countries and the wider region that wish to co-produce or raise funds with markets outside the Eurimages/Creative Europe MEDIA territories, as well as projects from these territories seeking a partner in Southeast Europe.
The Middle East, North Africa, the Americas, India and East Asia are intended as the primary geographical focus.
The fund has secured a Euros 400,000-plus allocation to support up to eight features in 2015-16.
Separate co-production and P&A schemes will make up to Euros 60,000 available in the form of a soft loan.
