ScreenDaily has been named one of the top ten film sites in world by The Sunday Times.

The UK newspaper describes the site’s international focus as “a welcome change from the Hollywood emphasis of most movie sites”. It added: “Particularly strong on international box-office takings, review of art-house titles and festival news.”

Other sites named in the piece include film database IMDB.com, reviews aggregator RottenTomatoes.com and box office statistics resource, BoxOfficeMojo.com.

ScreenDaily was revamped in May and is now also available as a free iPhone application, which was launched earlier in the summer, and offers the latest news and reviews on the move.
