Fox Searchlight has found a replacement for its outgoing executive vice-president of marketing Stephanie Allen.
Larry Baldauf will step into Allen’s shoes in early March and will jointly manage all aspects of marketing with executive vice-president of marketing Michelle Hooper. They will report directly to Searchlight presidents Stephen Gilula and Nancy Utley. Allen is leaving to pursue graduate studies.
Baldauf was a founding partner of Hollywood-based advertising agency Acme Trailer Company. Prior to Acme he served as creative director of The Lounge, a boutique arm of Craig Murray Productions.
He also served as vice-president of new business development and as a producer at New Wave Entertainment, and was director of creative film services at Buena Vista Pictures Marketing, and director of creative advertising at Buena Vista International.
In a previous career he was a fighter pilot in the US Navy.
