Berlin-based Senator Entertainment is in negotiations with Los Angeles-based Relativity Media for Senator to take over Relativity’s foreign sales operations.

Under the proposed deal, Senator would handle foreign sales of films produced and distributed by Relativity Media.

The deal if concluded would be expected to go into effect January 1, 2013.

Relativity already has an output deal with Senator for Gemany.

The deal is pending further negotiation and agreement of both companies.
