Shoreline has closed several key territories at EFM on Sebastian
Silva's Chilean drama The Maid (La Nana) on the back of its grand jury prize win in Sundance's world cinema dramatic section.
Rights have gone to Golem Distribucion in Spain, Bolero Films in
Italy, Ost For Paradis for Denmark, Action Film for Norway, and Gateno
Films for Peru, Ecuador and Central America.
The Los Angeles-based production and sales company's Berlin slate also
included Nahid Persson's documentary The Queen And I, Zhang Yuan's
Dada's Dance, and Najwa Najjar's Pomegranates And Myrrh.
The Canadian heist caper High Life, which Shoreline began to sell at
AFM last autumn, stars Timothy Olyphant and Joe Anderson and received
its world premiere in the Berlinale's Panorama Section.
