Producer Mace Neufeld and director Simon West will reunite for the new heist thriller Let It Ride. The pair previously worked together on The General's Daughter for Paramount in 1999.
The $22m thriller is out to cast now, with a waiver in place for any potential SAG strike.
Let It Ride will start shooting in Louisiana this summer.
The story is about a beautiful blackmailer and a charming con man who meet over a $5m pot.
West more recently directed Con-Air and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.
UK-based Silverscreen Capital will structure the finance with London-based Intandem Films. The latter is also handling international sales. Deals have already been done with a number of territories.
Gary Smith, Intandem CEO said: 'This title is already receiving a lot of heat from buyers. Our distributors are saying that it is a typical popcorn Saturday night film that people will rush to the cinema to see. The continued success of heist thrillers such as the Oceans franchise, Swordfish and Get Shorty prove that this remains a popular genre among cinema-goers'.
