Sissy Spacek has joinedParamount's comedy Hot Rodalongside the Saturday Night Live (SNL) comedy duo Andy Samberg and JormaTaccone.

SNL writer Akiva Schaffer makes his directorial debut on the story of anaccident-prone daredevil who plans to jump a river on a moped in a bid to winhis stepfather's approval.

Lorne Michaels and John Goldwyn will produce through their Paramount- basedcompany Michaels Goldwyn. Paramount's Jill Messick is serving as executiveproducer. Pam Brady wrote the screenplay.
