Spanish broadcaster Antena 3 has boarded Woody Allen’s new London project as a co-producer. You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger is currently in post-production.
The deal continues the broadcaster’s relationship with Spanish production company, MediaPro, which began on Allen’s Spanish set drama Vicky Cristina Barcelona.
Antena 3 has also taken Spanish TV rights to the romantic comedy starring Antonio Banderas, Josh Brolin, Anthony Hopkins and Naomi Watts. It follows different members of a family through their tangled love lives. It shot for seven weeks in London.
Stranger, which is due to release in Spanish cinemas next autumn, is the second of four MediaPro Woody Allen productions. Their next collaboration will also be a romantic comedy set in Paris.
