Alex Kostich has been promoted to vice-president of creative advertising at Sony Pictures Releasing International (SPRI).
Kostich is responsible for SPRI’s print advertising campaigns, overseeing one-sheets, newspaper advertisements and collateral marketing material. He reports to SPRI’s executive vice-president of creative advertising Ignacio Darnaude.
His credits include Spider-Man 2 and 3, The Da Vinci Code, Casino Royale, Quantum Of Solace and Angels & Demons, among many others. Current campaigns include Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs, 2012,Zombieland, and Did You Hear About the Morgans?
He is also the liaison for SPRI’s 65 international offices for print-related issues for the studio’s releases.
Kostich joined SPRI as director of creative advertising in 2003. Prior to Sony he was at Warner Bros for ten years in a variety of roles.
