Film London has appointed three new members to its board of directors: BAFTA-winning producer Stephen Woolley, Tim Richards, chief executive of Vue Cinemas and Target Media Group chief executive Rob Wilkerson.
The new members each represent a distinct area of expertise - film production, cinema exhibition and media communications - and will replace outgoing board members: producer Jeremy Thomas CBE, chief executive of Zoo Cinemas Clare Binns and Time Out founder Tony Elliott. They have stepped down after serving the maximum of two three year terms.
The board includes a number of key figures from the London arts scene including film-maker John Akomfrah, producer Dr Emily Caston, curator of film at the Tate Modern Stuart Comer and media lawyer Lisbeth Savill.
Sandy Lieberson, chair of Film London said: “I am delighted to welcome these three very talented, smart and successful new board members to Film London. In their individual fields, Stephen, Tim and Rob, are at the very top of their game and it is brilliant that Film London will be able to utilise their wealth of skills and knowledge.”
