Boom Blox, a game developed by US based EA Casual Games in collaboration with director StevenSpielberg, has been nominated for the GAME British Academy Video Games Awards.
Boom Blox is scheduled for release in May 2008. The game, which has more than 300 levels and 30 characters, involves building and knocking down blocks. Players can interact with characters such as chickens or baseball throwing monkeys.
It is the first game to emerge from the collaboration with Spielberg. The company teamed up with the director in 2005 and they have agreed to work together on three video games.
This year the awards feature 39 different video games. They will be held at the London Hilton on March 10.
