This year’s festival showcased more than 170 films from over 50 countries.

Four 7.3 kilo bronze Dala Horses, created by Swedish artist Fredrik Swärd and the world’s heaviest film prize, changed hands at the 23rd Stockholm International Film Festival which ended Sunday (Nov 18).

One went to the grand prix winner, Australian director Cate Shortland (for Lore), the others as special achievement awards for Swedish director Jan Troell, US actor Willem Dafoe and French director Jacques Audiard.
