The Stockholm Film Festival (Nov 15-25) is to open with Josef Fares' Leo - the first time the event has launched with a Swedish film.
Leo is Fares' fourth feature, following Jalla! Jalla! (2000), Kops (2003) and the Nordic Council prizewinning Zozo (2005).
The film is a thriller tarring Leonard Terfelt, Shahab Salehi and Josef Fares himself. Fares directed and wrote the screenplay with Anna Anthony and Memfis Film producing. Anthony. Sonet Film will distribute in Sweden on Nov 30.
