The company has taken on international rights to Michael Radford's La Mula and Ken Bowser's Down and Dirty Pictures.
La Mula stars Spanish rising talents Oscar Jaenada and Maria Valverde. Alejandra Frade of Gheko Films produces. The film, which Radford co-wrote with Juan Eslava Galan, is the third part of his trilogy starting with Another Time, Another Place and Il Postino.
La Mula (directly translated: The Mule) is set in the Spanish countryside.
Down And Dirty Pictures, which is in advanced development, will be produced by PalmStar Entertainment. The comedy feature will look at the explosion of indie film in the 1990s. Key cast will be announced soon and a number of film-makers and actors are expected to cameo. Joshua James and Dean Craig (Death At A Funeral) will adapt the script from Peter Biskind's book.
Bowser previously directed the film of Easy Riders, Raging Bulls, also based on a Biskind book.
