Memento Films International sold Ramin Bahrani's Goodbye Solo to Imagine in Benelux and Xenix in Switzerland.

Regent Releasing acquired North American rights from Fortissimo Films to Serbis, which will screen at the New York Film Festival on October 12.

Maximum Film Distribution took Canadian rights on Disgrace from Fortissimo Films, as well as Kiyoshi Kurosawa's Tokyo Sonata, Tatia Rosenthal's $9.99, Valdis Oskarsdottir's Country Wedding, Rashid Masharawi's Laila's Birthday, Brillante Mendoza's Serbis, Guka Omarova's Native Dancer.

Maximum also bought Canadian rights on six Cinetic Media titles - Ian Fitzgibbon's A Film With Me In It, Matt Aselton's Gigantic, Ramin Bahrani's Goodbye Solo, John Crowley's Is There Anybody There', Richard Linklater's Me And Orson Welles and Scott McGehee and David Siegel's Uncertainty.

Strand Releasing picked up US rights to Terence Davies' Of Time And The City.

Palisades Tartan UK struck a deal to extend its UK distribution rights to Fortissimo Films titles. The library includes more than 30 films including Mysterious Skin, Capturing The Friedmans and 2046.

Rai Trade closed several deals on Pupi Avati's Il Papa Di Giovanna. Sales have been sealed with France (Paradis), Belgium and The Netherlands (ABC Films), Australia (Palace Pictures) and Switzerland (MFD).

Sola Media sold Sunshine Barry & The Disco Worms to more territories, including the Baltics (Amce), Benelux (Independent Films) and India (VMI).

Vienna-based Autlook Filmsales closed initial deals on Nikolaus Geyrhalter's 7915 KM and Juraj Lehotsky's Blind Loves. Autlook sold 7915 KM to Benelux-based BFD (Benelux Film Distribution) and Blind Loves to Benelux (Lumiere Films), France (ASC), Czech Republic (Artcam), Switzerland (Look Now), Austria (PolyFilm) and Poland (Against Gravity).

Celluloid Dreams sold Still Walking to Pyramide in France, Trigon in Switzerland and Folkets Bio in Sweden. Documentary Valentino: The Last Emperor went to Hopscotch in Australia.

The Little Film Company sold Anthony Fabian's Skin to France (UGC), Benelux (European Film Partners), Scandinavia (Nordisk), Greece (Spentzos Film) and the Middle East (Front Row).

Image Entertainment has picked up all non-theatrical US rights to John Maybury's The Edge Of Love from CT1 Holdings.

Wolfe Releasing picked up US rights to Tom Gustafson's Were The World Mine and Chris Mason Johnson's The New Twenty and will also release on DVD through Wolfe Video.

Edward Noeltner's Cinema Management Group closed sales on its key Toronto sales titles Zambezia, Killer Bean Forever and The People Speak to Poland's Vison Film and Turkey's Film Pop.

Gaumont has announced new sales on Mabrouk El Mechri's JCVD to Germany (Koch), Australia (Transmission), Spain (Versus), UK (Revolver), Japan (Asmik Ace), Greece (Spentzos), Turkey (Horizon), Benelux (Cineart), Eastern Europe (SPI), CIS (Eeap), Portugal (Lusomundo), Switzerland (Monopole Pathe) and the Middle East (Four Stars).

Celluloid Dreams closed a deal with Ocean in France for Jeffrey Levy-Hinte's Soul Power following its acquisition of the film from Submarine. Other Celluloid deals: Safy Nebbou's Mark Of An Angel sold to the UK (Metrodome), Greece (Odeon), Canada (Seville), and Switzerland (Xenix). Takeshi Kitano's Achilles And The Tortoise sold to France (Ocean) and Russia (Maywin) and Marco Bechis' Birdwatchers sold to the UK (Artificial Eye), Germany (Pandora), Benelux (Cinemien), Austria (Filmladen), Switzerland (Trigon) and Australia (Hopscotch).

Visit Films closed a five-film deal with Beyond Entertainment in Australia. Beyond acquired rights to Hannah Takes The Stairs, LOL and Kissing On The Mouth by Joe Swanberg, and Dance Party USA and Quiet City by Aaron Katz. Visit concluded additional sales on Holly to HBO Central Europe and Prorom in Romania, while The Matador, Choking Man and Arranged have gone to Latin American Pay TV, The Matador to Siren Visual in Australia/New Zealand, and The Pleasure Of Being Robbed and The Matador to YesDBS in Israel.

Mark Hartley's Not Quite Hollywood was sold by Magnolia Pictures to Surreal in France and Russia, Optimum in the UK, Brunbro in Benelux and Greenlight in Iceland.

Lionsgate UK acquired the distribution rights to Marv Films' Harry Brown from HanWay Films.

Fortissimo Films closed an all-rights French deal for Gigantic with La Fabrique De Films.

StudioCanal announced a North American sale on Erick Zonca's Julia to Magnolia Pictures. Julia has already sold to 23 territories, including Germany's Kinowelt, Spain's Vertigo and the UK's Curzon Artificial Eye.

The Works UK Distribution has taken all UK rights to Anvil! The Story Of Anvil.

Bavaria Film International sold Carlos Sorin's The Window to Benelux (Cinemien) and Brazil (Imovision), and Marco Kreuzpaintner's Krabat to Russia (Film Depot) and Poland and Romania (SPI). Also, Doris Dorrie's Cherry Blossoms - Hanami has been sold to Poland (Against Gravity).

The UK's Axiom Films picked up Ramin Bahrani's Goodbye Solo from Memento, Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden's Sugar from Maximum Films International and Rithy Panh's The Sea Wall from Films Distribution
