Media 8 Entertainment has closed a slew of sales here in Berlin on its Biblical drama Mary Mother Of Christ and the biopic Dali.

Mary Mother Of Christ, which stars Camilla Belle, Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Peter O'Toole, has sold to Eastern Europe (SPI), Portugal (Lusomundo) Middle East (Gulf), Turkey (Horizon), South Africa (Nu Metro), Greece (Odeon) and the Philippines (Pioneer Films).

Mary Aloe is producing through her Aloe Entertainment along with Dune Films in Morocco, where principal photography will commence in April. MGM plans a wide US release in April 2010.

Dali starring Antonio Banderas as the iconic Catalan surrealist painter has closed in Benelux (RCV), Portugal (Lusomundo), Middle East (Gulf) and Greece (Village). Media 8 has closed a production deal with Spanish company Arcadia which will distribute the picture in Spain and Latin America.

Media 8's EFM slate includes The Ramen Girl, A Film With Me In It, American Son and Eichmann.
