Babelgum is working with the UK-based Encounters International Film Festival to create several online and mobile video channels.
The channels of Bright Encounters and Animated Encounters are already live, with audiences able to vote for their favourite shorts.
The online winners for each category will be awarded at Encounters on Nov 20.
Encounters runs in Bristol from Nov 16-21. The festival has worked with Babelgum for four consecutive years.
“We’re thrilled that short film lovers will be able to enjoy our festival programming via these curated channels,” said Liz Harkman, managing director, Encounters International Film Festival. “Babelgum is an ideal partner for Encounters, and we are pleased that a whole new audience will be able to see and vote for some of our best-quality short films outside of the theater, anywhere in the world.”
