Festival Scope, the new online platform which allows screenings of select films from the world’s major film festivals for industry subscribers, has gone live with a lineup including the winning films from this summer’s Sarajevo, ERA New Horizons, Paris Cinema, Taormina and Locarno Open Doors.

Those films are Nikola Lezaic’s Tilva Rosh (which won Sarajevo), Anocha Suwichakornpong’s Mundane History (ERA New Horizons), Zhang Lu’s Dooman River (Paris Cinema), Gianfrancesco Lazotti’s From The Waist Up (Taormina) and Nariman Turebayev’s Sunny Days (Locarno Open Doors).
 
Also available to screen on the site are several films from Venice Horizons competition including the section’s winners Summer Of Goliath by Nicolas Pereda and Roee Rosen’s Out (which won in the medium-length category). Other titles on Festival Scope from Horizons include El Sicario Room 164 by Gianfranco Rosi, Dharma Guns by FJ Ossang, The Sword And The Rose by Joao Nicolau, Jean Gentil by Laura Amelia Guzman and Israel Cardenas and Caracremada by Lluis Galter.
 
Founded by three former sales executive Alessandro Raja, formerly of Celluloid Dreams, Mathilde Henriot, formerly of MK2, and Lucie Kalmar, formerly of Wild Bunch, Festival Scope will also focus on specific film-makers. Coming to the site shortly is a focus on Flatform the Milan and Berlin-based collective whose latest film Can Not Be Anything Against The Wind screened in Venice Horizons.
 
Upcoming festivals which will also offer films to screen on Festival Scope include Hamburg, Nouveau Cinema Montreal, Valdivia, Viennale and Gijon.
