Loach's Route Irish to get multi-platform release

Artificial Eye and Sky Movies Box Office will work together on a simultaneous release of Ken Loach’s latest feature, Route Irish, which premiered in Cannes 2010.

The film will be released in 20+ cinemas across the UK from March 18, the same day it will launch for Sky Anytime and Sky Movies Box Office subscribers, for two weeks.

Sky Movies Box Office has 10m subscribers.

This marks the fourth collaboration between Artificial Eye and Sky, with previous simultaneous releases including Edge of Heaven, Julia, and Life During Wartime.

The film will also be offered day and date via the new on-demand platform Curzon On Demand, as well as via FilmFlex.

The consipracy thriller is aobut private security firms in Iraq.
