Transmedia workshop and training programme Pixel Lab is returning to Potsdam, Germany (July 1-7) for its third edition.
The programme will select up to 40 producers, storytellers and executives to attend the workshop where they will collaborate with experts on how todevelop, finance and distribute their cross-media stories.
Producers attending the Lab - which is a division of digital consultancy Power To The Pixel - receive distance mentoring over the summer (July – September) to help take their project to the next level. There will also be a four-day session in London in October 2012.
Confirmed tutors for this year’s Lab include Power To The Pixel founder and CEO Liz Rosenthal, ARTE France Cinema Executive Director Michel Reilhac and producer Nuno Bernardo.
Rosenthal said: “Power to the Pixel is honoured to have the continued support of our generous partners, MEDIA Programme European, Medienboard, TorinoFilmLab and Skillset via its Film Skills Fund. In these 3 years, we’ve seen a tremendous growth in the quality and range of the projects submitted and developed at The Pixel Lab. We’re thrilled to be collaborating with some of the best European talent, helping develop innovative ways of telling stories and doing business in this rapidly evolving media world.”
