Festival announces dates for 2013: April 17-28.
The Tribeca Film Festival is parterning with Bombay Sapphire to create a new transmedia programme at the 2013 festival.
The transmedia strand will include a new award. The initiative aims to celebrate new trends in digital media and draw attention to content creators who use multi-platform approaches to storytelling.
Ingrid Kopp [pictured], Director of Digital Initiatives for the Tribeca Film Institute, joins the Tribeca Film Festival programming team to collaborate on the initiative.
The festival also announced its 2013 dates for April 17-28. American Express is again sponsoring.
The programming team includes Geoffrey Gilmore, Chief Creative Officer of Tribeca Enterprises; Artistic Director Frédéric Boyer; Director of Programming Genna Terranova; Programmer Cara Cusumano and Shorts Programmer Sharon Badal.
