UK-based Digital Media Services has opened a new Hollywood office to serve its US clients.
Since its founding in 2002, DMS has supplied digital distribution services to the European entertainment industry. Michael Wuetcher, who was a senior publicist at Paramount Pictures for 20 years, will head the US office.
Director and Founder Amy Le Coz [pictured] said of the Hollywood expansion, “We need to be close to our clients to ensure that we can continue to provide innovative services, to meet and hopefully exceed client needs, a US presence will help DMS to achieve these goals.”
DMS’s services include Hawk, which is a specialised media and press monitoring and reporting for studios, music labels, sports and other branches of media. Panther offers video post-production services, including 3D and subtitling services, and is currently utilized by 15 studios. Their Panther Online system serves over 400 online media outlets and broadcasters. Lynx is DMS’s creative division and produces tv spots, trailers, featurettes, EPKs, and multi-media presentations.
Tiger Films is Digital Media Services’ HD video production company, launched in 2011. Their in-house production “The Big Picture” is a monthly magazine-style movie programme that previews upcoming film releases and covers premieres, delivered to agencies and broadcasters via Panther Online.
