StudioCanal and German broadcaster RTL Television today announced a comprehensive TV output deal in Germany beginning Jan 2011.
The deal covers all StudioCanal international productions and will include the 3D animation Sammy’s Adventures: The Secret Passage, The Next Three Days, starring Russell Crowe, and the upcoming remakes of Escape From New York and Cliffhanger.

StudioCanal owns one of the most comprehensive film libraries in the world with more than 5,000 French, British, Italian, German and American films.
RTL Television, owned by Media Group RTL Germany, is one of the country’s biggest private broadcasting stations.
