Shinji Aoyama's Sad Vacation, starring Tadanobu Asano, and Miki Satoshi's Drifting have been acquired by Korea's Sponge Entertainment.
Meanwhile Korea's Cinema Valley also acquired two titles from Style Jam - Ryo Iwamatsu's Then Summer Came, starring Joe Odagiri and Yoshio Hara, and Odagiri's directorial debut Looking For Cherry Blossoms.
The four deals suggest a slight reversal of the Korean wave that has swept over Japan for the past few years. Korean distributors are now stepping up acquisitions of Japanese and other foreign product as this year's domestic production levels have declined.
