Summit has completed casting on its upcoming romantic thriller Twilight with Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, Jackson Rathbone, Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz joining Kristen Stewart and Edward Cullen.
Catherine Hardwicke is poised to commence filming later this month on Melissa Rosenberg's adaptation of the bestselling series of books by Stephenie Meyer.
Stewart stars as a small town girl who unwittingly sparks supernatural war when she falls for a vampire, played by Cullen. The new arrivals will play vampire relatives of Cullen's character.
Karen Rosenfelt, Greg Mooradian and Wyck Godfrey will produce with Mark Morgan through his Maverick Films label.
'Finding six talented actors who can portray supernaturally beautiful, talented vampires of the sort Stephenie Meyer has created and her fans have come to know and love was not an easy task but we are happy to say we have found our perfect Cullen family,' Summit's president of production Erik Feig said.
Feig will oversee the project for Summit along with senior vice president of production Geoff Shaevitz and creative executive Gillian Bohrer.
