Festival top brass announced two additions to the line-up on December 18.
Zach Braff’s Wish I Was Here has been added to the Premieres strand and centres on a struggling actor and father who experiences a catharsis triggered by his father’s death.
Braff co-wrote the screenplay with his brother Adam Braff. Braff stars alongside Kate Hudson, Mandy Patinkin, Josh Gad, Ashley Greene and Joey King. Wild Bunch handles international sales and showed footage at the AFM last month. CAA represents North American rights.

Meanwhile Kevin Smith’s Clerks, which premiered at Sundance in 1994, will screen in From The Collection. A fresh print created by Miramax will mark the 20th anniversary screening. Smith is expected to attend the screening and Q&A.
The Sundance Film Festival is set to run from January 16-26 2014.
